At least, my friends and I could not resist when we were walking to the bar last weekend. We decided to spice things up a bit, and went to a place that was more of a 20 minute walk, compared to the usual 5 minute walk. So to pass the time, we obviously belted out classic theme songs from the 90′s. Doesn’t everyone?
We got really into “Sister, Sister” (college years: “I got my ownnn minddd”). But since those lyrics start with “sister, sister” I didn’t think it was enough of a challenge to include in this post.

I skipped the gym yesterday because I just felt tired and like I really needed a night off. Do you ever have days like that?
Normally I take Fridays off, so if I head to the gym today instead, all will be fine.
Froyo, Cocktails and Cupcakes, oh my!
Luckily, my mood to skip the gym perfectly coincided with my roommates’ moods to treat themselves. We were all 100% on board to take a nice evening walk for some frozen yogurt.

I decided to fully indulge my sweet tooth and went a little crazy with the toppings. Graham cracker crumbs, crushed oreos, mini m&ms, reese’s peanut butter cups, chocolate chip cookie dough bites, peanut butter sauce….yea. That’s not even everything.
As we were walking home, we decided to stop at The Duck and Bunny which is an adorable bar meets coffee shop that we’d been wanting to try for awhile. Once we spotted the cupcakes, we knew there was no turning back.

I went for the Chocolate Cheesecake Cupcake, and it was heavenly. Decadent and rich.

Which was my favorite. Because chocolate and peanut butter should always be together. And the peanut butter frosting was just. Incredible. Fluffy. Peanut buttery. I will continue to dream and fantasize about this frosting for years to come.
Or days. Because this cupcake is mere minutes away from me and lesbehonest, I won’t be able to resist the temptation for long.
It’s necessary to treat yourself now and again. I feel rejuvenated and ready to get back into the swing of things today.
